Jessica and Darshan had a two day wedding event, and it was a whirlwind of fun! I met Jessica through a colleague in my former career as a food stylist—you never know when and where referrals will come from! Jessica and Darshan were just the sweetest couple, and I had a blast covering both ceremonies.
Friday, August 15, was the Sikh wedding ceremony that took place at Darshan’s brother’s home in New Hampshire. This was my first time covering an event like this, and it was amazing. The colors took my breath away! I included some of my favorites here.
Then, on Saturday August 16, the couple welcomed friends and family for an additional ceremony and reception at the Rivermill in Dover, NH. This venue could not have been more perfect for them! Full of light and details, it was a dream to photograph, and I was fortunate to have Joshua Barnatt along as my second shooter for Saturday’s festivities.
I especially loved their first look. I had scouted the location a few days before the ceremony and found an awesome stairwell complete with amazing windows and white walls that was perfect for this moment. Jessica wasn’t 100% sold on the idea of a first look, but she went with it, and these ended up being some of her favorite images as well.
Jessica and Darshan, I loved every minute of these two days. Thank you both for including me in your special celebration!
