When I have a snow day with the kids, I try to think of anything possible to keep the day fun without feeling stir crazy. This becomes especially hard towards the end of the winter season. My youngest finds it a little tough to trudge through the snow, so we tend to stay inside. Here’s something super simple the kids might enjoy! Two ingredients, just M&M’s and white chocolate chips. Use a double broiler to melt the white chips. Stirring the entire time the chips are melting. Noelle loves doing this and watching it melt. Pour the melted morsels onto a cookie sheet with parchment paper (wax paper works also). Let the kids go to town adding the M&M’s. Throw in the fridge and they can snack on it an hour lateror tie together with a pretty string to give as Valentine’s. Done. You can get creative and add whatever you have hanging around the house. Rice Krispies add a nice crunch. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
